Privacy policy
Last updated 30 September 2026
This policy explains how Clubhouse Property Ltd looks after your personal data when you use the Clubhouse website and the Clubhouse mobile app. It is written in plain English. If anything is unclear, write to us at support@clubhouseproperty.com.
Who we are
Clubhouse Property Ltd is the data controller. That means we decide why and how your data is used.
- Company number: SC896050 (registered in Scotland)
- Registered office: Clockwise Savoy Tower, 77 Renfrew Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G2 3BZ
- ICO registration number: ZC212976
- Privacy contact: support@clubhouseproperty.com
What we collect
- Account and contact details: your name, email address, mobile number, membership plan and status, client number and referral code.
- Application answers: what you tell us when you apply, such as investor type, strategies, deals you plan in the next year, areas of interest, investable capital range, how you heard about us and your own statement. We also record whether you agreed to receive deals by WhatsApp and when.
- Investment brief: the preferences you save in your profile, such as strategies, area, minimum yield, risk appetite, mandate amount and target number of deals. We use it to match deals to you.
- Deal activity: deals you show interest in, claim or reserve, how and when you paid, invoices and receipts.
- Payments: card details are typed on Stripe's own payment page and never reach us. We keep references, amounts, VAT, payment status, receipt links, and any refund or dispute status.
- Agreements and signatures: when you sign a deal agreement in the app we record your name, home address, town, postcode, country, mobile number, drawn signature, the date and time, and the IP address and browser details you signed from. The signed PDF is kept on your record in our customer system.
- Portfolio: properties you add to your portfolio and the figures you enter.
- Deal referrals: if you refer a deal, the address, notes and any documents or photos you attach. If you share your referral link, we record the email address of the person who signs up through it.
- Enquiries and partner applications: name, email, phone, company and message from our landing pages and partner form.
- Messages we send you: deal alerts and service emails by SMS, WhatsApp and email, and a record that they were sent.
- Mobile app alerts: if you allow notifications in the app, a device token and the phone type (iPhone or Android), so we can send "new deal" alerts. Your face or fingerprint never leaves your phone. The phone only tells the app yes or no.
- Technical data: sign-in cookies, error and performance reports, and hosting logs such as IP address and browser type.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites or apps. We do not sell your data.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- Running your account and the service (sign in, deals, payments, agreements, support): needed to carry out our contract with you.
- Keeping financial and legal records: a legal obligation, and part of our contract with you.
- Deal alerts and other marketing by SMS, WhatsApp and email: your consent, given when you apply or join. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP or emailing us.
- Security, fraud prevention, fixing faults: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and working.
- Matching deals to your brief: our legitimate interest in showing you relevant deals, and part of the service you asked for.
